Internship Bid specialist

In Athonet we are involved in RFI, RFP, RFQ responses (generally referred to as RFX process).

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

The Bid Specialist will be responsible to analyze the RFX requirements, recognize the different involved stakeholders, both inside and outside the company (e.g. 3rd parties), plan the tasks and the timeline for the internal team to complete the required deliverables within the due date, manage the communication within the different organizations/functions inside the company as well as the communication towards the customer or partner, together with the Sales Manager.

The Bid Specialist will monitor the evolution of the preparation, asking for meetings when required and planning corrective actions if needed. The role is inside the Sales department and the resource will report to the Bid Manager. This is a transversal role and the resource will be in touch with basically all the departments within the Company.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

We look at tenders with a project-management approach. Therefore, project management background is appreciated.

Soft skills

The candidate needs to have planning capabilities and strong attitude to work in a team. Ability to set priorities, to react to changes and escalate when necessary. Tidiness and accuracy mindset. Proactiveness and flexibility. Excellent communication skills are required.


Degree in Engineering (e.g. Management Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering) is preferred. Proficiency in written and spoken English is requested.
